MUD and Redstone Newsletter #11
Redstone infra improvements coming soon, discussions and docs of the week, and Enzo Racing!
Hey MUD and Redstone builders,
Happy Friday! This week we have new MUD games, new docs, new discussions and teasers of new infra for Redstone coming soon. That’s a lot of new — so let’s get into it!
Weekly Updates
We’ve been working on improving global edge node infrastructure and indexing for Redstone, and will have more announcements to share soon!
In the meantime, a friendly reminder that in addition to native support for MUD indexing on Redstone mainnet, we also have the same support on Garnet! If you’re currently playtesting an app on Redstone and haven’t taken advantage of this functionality, you can learn more about how to do so here. h/t BriefKandle (whose game MOCS is currently playtesting!) for making us aware that other MUD builders might not know about MUD indexer support on Garnet!
Discussions and Docs of the Week
What’s the most performant indexer option: SQLite or Postgres? This question, posed by t11s in our Discord channel has an answer! Postgres. Now you know.
We have some new docs on MUD modules this week (please note that both modules are unverified/unaudited)
A Nethereum module, which is is usable from all .Net client types, including Unity.
An ERC-721 puppet module, which allows you to create NFTs as a part of a MUD world.
Project Radar
Enzo Racing, a new game built with MUD, just finished up their latest playtest. Missed this one? You can sign up for their upcoming playtest, starting soon!
And that’s all for this week! As always, if you have announcements or feedback you’d like to share, feel free to get in touch with vera!
Talk soon,
The Lattice team
