Hey MUD and Redstone builder,
We have a bunch of news this week! MUD v2.2 is OUT (aka, we now have World Explorer!), we saw some community videos and demos sprout up in the ecosystem, and lots of MUD games launched on testnet and mainnet. Let’s get into it!
Weekly Updates
World Explorer, a new tool for inspecting, simulating, and manipulating world state has been released, thanks to the hard work of kumpis, frolic, and docs support from Ori! Check out the thread here.
You can also find our World Explorer docs here.
Discussions and Docs of the Week
MUD community member FilosophiaCodigo blessed us with a video guide to building with MUD and ZK in both Spanish and English! Check out his videos here.
Over on Discord, we had a discussion about using MUD on Windows, and potential struggles with the Windows filesystem. Check out the conversation here, and feel free to hop in if you want to add your experience!
We’ve updated our MUD docs on the Keys in Table Module and on Module Installation.
Project Radar
Biomes launched a new era on Redstone Mainnet! Gather resources, build, and maneuver your rover across a hostile environment. Learn more from Biomes here, and start playing here!
Dappmon launched on mainnet this week! This Tamagotchi-like game is the first NFT-as-game project we’ve seen built with MUD, and we’re so excited to see this kind of ingenuity happening. Check out their thread here, and play here!
Also, we have a new playtest of PopCraft that’s just been released! This game uses an integration with the beloved Redstone favorite This Cursed Machine, and can be tested here now! Check out the thread here.
And that’s all for this week! As always, if you have announcements or feedback you’d like to share, feel free to get in touch with vera!
Talk soon,
The Lattice team
