MUD and Redstone Newsletter #22
One Week Before Devcon Edition, plus news from EVE Frontier, Biomes, PopCraft, Dark Forest MUD, and more.
Hey MUD and Redstone Builder,
We’re officially one week until Devcon! If you’ll be in town, we’d love to see you at MUD Day on November 14th, at the Queen Sirikit National Convention Center (the same venue where the main Devcon event is held!). You can find more info on MUD Day here and also sign up for email notifications here (note: anyone can attend MUD Day if they have a Devcon ticket - this is solely so we can send you a calendar confirmation and email reminders!).
This newsletter is coming out a bit later than usual, because your regular newsletter-writer was in transit on Friday. We apologize for the delay.
Now let’s get into this week’s newsletter!
Weekly Updates
As mentioned above, you can learn all about our Devcon agenda on the MUD Day landing page. Learn more in the thread here!
Discussions and Docs of the Week
tapticc had a question about sorting on uint256, which resulted in a revelation that that
sort()
filters an array of integers as strings. With some back-and-forth and some help from karolis and frolic, we were able to find a solution.
Project Radar
Bankless included a write-up on EVE Frontier in a recent thread about onchain games! EVE Frontier is starting their next playtest on November 7th — so be sure to sign up!
Activity on Redstone has been booming, thanks in part to all of the recent action taking place in Biomes. We highly suggest checking out Biomes now, and following them on X for all of the latest activity happening in the nascent AW!
The most recent round of Dark Forest MUD has wrapped up!
And that’s all for this week! As always, if you have announcements or feedback you’d like to share, feel free to get in touch with vera!
Talk soon,
